Ann Handley is a writer, a digital marketing pioneer, and a doubling-crowned Wall Street Journal best-selling author. A sought-after speaker, she is as memorable as she is inspiring, empowering audiences around the world to create marketing that your customers will love, and igniting real results for their business. And she is a super snappy dresser – just google some images of her and you’ll see what I mean.

To add to the list of her accomplishments Ann is a successful entrepreneur and company leader of two start-ups – ClickZ and Marketing Profs. And for the last 15 years at MarketingProf’s she and her team have hosted marketers from around the world at B2B Marketing Forum – which over the years has become the premier global marketing event for business-to-business marketers. It is no wonder that she consistently named one of the most influential marketers on social media and a thought leader.

The onslaught adoption, or attempt thereof, of generative AI techology has this professional communicator encouraging people – whether at the start or tail-end of their careers – to learn how to write and not depend on what these new tools can seemingly generate. And when Ann says “write”, she is not talking about grammar and punctuation, although that is important too. No, she means learn how to express yourself – its “important in an age of AI – where some think the robots can do it. But writing with a perspective and being able to communicate and express oneself is critical to success in any field”.
